This gorgeous mint never hinged Grenada - Grenadines complete unexploded booklet of 9 "bend and peel" stamps has sewn binding and contains two booklet panes.
The first booklet pane is Scott # 220a and includes one each of Scott # 218-220 stamps. The second pane is Scott # 217a and has 6 copies of Scott # 217. Sorry, but my Scott catalogue isn't specialized enough to give a number for the entire booklet, but that's what this is... it's NOT just the booklet panes, it's the entire complete unexploded booklet.
This booklet is similar to Great Britain's Prestige Booklets in that it's not just plain stamps inside...the inside front & back covers set forth the calendar of events for the "Silver Jubilee Programme for H.M. the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh for the Spring and Summer of 1977", the back sides of the stamp panes give a very nifty geneology chart of the British Kings and Queens, there is an extra pane of delightful full color pictures showing the beauties of the Grenada-Grenadines islands, and the back cover features a map of Carriacou.
The booklet honors Queen Elizabeth II and the Silver Jubilee of her ascension to the throne.
