FAQs About How We Do Things:
|
 |
 |
|
1. How can I pay for an item I order from you?
Due to high currency exchange bank fees in the US, all payments must be in US funds. We accept payment by international or US domestic money order in US dollars, PayPal, personal check if in US dollars and drawn on a US bank, or US currency (sent at your own risk). When you decide to order and you’re not using our PayPal shopping cart, please let us know how you want to pay, and we'll send you an invoice with detailed payment instructions & your total amount due. Items paid for by money order, PayPal or cash will ordinarily be shipped within one to two business days after we receive your payment, and often the same day. If you pay by personal check, please allow some time for your check to clear before we ship.
2. Why don’t you have a PayPal shopping cart for all of your items?
We decided to install a PayPal shopping cart only for the items we always have in stock and have more than one of. We know the cart is a convenient way to order and pay, but we only have one of many of the postcards, games and vinyl records that we offer, and we’d hate for two different people to order the same one-of-a-kind item at about the same time. The same type of thing could happen with individual stamps or sets that have limited availability. To prevent problems we decided not to allow shopping cart orders & payment for that type of item, and trust that you’ll understand our reason and agree.
3. I'm a stamp collector, and I'm looking for specific stamps to add to my collection. Can I send you my wantlist?
We'd love it if you do. We have a wide range of mint and used stamps available from many different countries, all individually identified and catalogued by Scott Number. We can compare your wantlist with what we have available and let you know which stamps are in stock, along with a price. We can also keep your wantlist in mind when additional stamps arrive in stock, and let you know if something you're interested in becomes available. Please email us for details on how to send your wantlist to us if you want to send it by "snail mail".
4. Do you just sell stamps and postcards as individual items or do you sometimes sell them in larger quantities?
We offer stamps and postcards on an individual basis (one-by-one) but also sell collections, accumulations and other larger or bulk groupings. We also usually have a few wholesale postcard lots available. If you don’t see a grouping that you’d like on our site, please email to let us know what you're interested in and we'll respond rapidly (normally within a very few hours of your email).
5. Do you buy collectibles as well as sell them? If so, I have some items to sell. What's the procedure?
We're constantly buying collections and accumulations of stamps and postcards. Please let us know what you have available for sale and we'll respond shortly with what we believe is the best way to go about evaluating what you have, and then hopefully making an offer to purchase it. For more details, please click on the Are You Selling? button on the navigation bar at the left.
6. How long have you been selling collectibles, and why should I trust you to send the items I order after I pay for them?
We've been selling collectibles for several years now, although we've been buying them for a lot longer than that. We've been an active member of eBay for more than 5 years. If you look at our feedback history on eBay, you'll see that we have thousands of different satisfied customers, and hundreds of repeat customers. We're eBay Powersellers, and as such are required to meet eBay's products and service standards for that respected status. We're not about to do anything to jeopardize our reputation. Please view our great eBay record. Our customers trust us, and include collectors, dealers, libraries, museums & other archival institutions.
